En effet, du c\u00f4t\u00e9 de Montmorillon (Vienne), terroir de son enfance, le chef multi-\u00e9toil\u00e9 inaugurera \u00e0 la Maison-Dieu l\u2019Institut International Jo\u00ebl Robuchon. <br \/>Lors d\u2019une conf\u00e9rence de presse donn\u00e9e au Bristol (Paris) le 19 novembre dernier, il a expliqu\u00e9 l\u2019objectif majeur de cette \u00e9cole moderne et tourn\u00e9e vers l\u2019international : valoriser l\u2019enseignement des arts culinaires fran\u00e7ais dans le monde en proposant \u00e0 des \u00e9tudiants internationaux des programmes d\u2019enseignement sup\u00e9rieur m\u00ealant techniques approfondies et cours de management. Ce futur \u00e9tablissement ne manque pas d\u2019ambition puisqu\u2019il s\u2019\u00e9tale sur pr\u00e8s de 10 000m2. <br \/>Il abritera notamment 20 salles de classe, 19 laboratoires, un amphith\u00e9\u00e2tre et un potager. Les formations propos\u00e9es iront de 2 mois \u00e0 3 ans et pr\u00e9pareront les \u00e9tudiants aux diff\u00e9rents m\u00e9tiers de la gastronomie : cuisine, p\u00e2tisserie, boulangerie, sommellerie et service. Alors que 523 \u00e9l\u00e8ves sont attendus d\u00e8s la premi\u00e8re ann\u00e9e, plus de 1175 \u00e9tudiants b\u00e9n\u00e9ficieront \u00e0 terme de cet enseignement qui s\u2019annonce de qualit\u00e9. <br \/>Le financement de cet institut est port\u00e9 par un groupe d\u2019investisseurs principalement asiatiques. L\u2019investissement global s\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve \u00e0 65 M\u20ac HT. <br \/>\u00c0 noter, par ailleurs, que Jo\u00ebl Robuchon a c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9 le 23 novembre dernier le premier anniversaire de La Grande Maison (Bordeaux) en r\u00e9unissant dans son restaurant plusieurs dizaines de chefs \u00e9toil\u00e9s de la r\u00e9gion et du Pays basque espagnol parmi lesquels Michel Gu\u00e9rard, Martin Berasategui et Michel Trama.
