Depuis 2004, le formald\u00e9hyde est class\u00e9 par le Centre international de recherche sur le cancer (CIRC) comme \u00ab substance canc\u00e9rog\u00e8ne av\u00e9r\u00e9e pour l\u2019homme \u00bb (groupe 1). Suite \u00e0 ce classement, l\u2019Agence a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 une s\u00e9rie de travaux d\u2019expertise s\u2019int\u00e9ressant \u00e0 la population g\u00e9n\u00e9rale et aux travailleurs.
