Les ruminants, domestiques et sauvages (principalement bovins et cervid\u00e9s), mais \u00e9galement les sangliers, blaireaux ou renards peuvent \u00eatre infect\u00e9s. Depuis 2001, la France est consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme \u00ab officiellement indemne de tuberculose bovine \u00bb, cependant chaque ann\u00e9e une centaine de foyers persiste en \u00e9levage malgr\u00e9 les mesures de lutte mise en place.
