Cette maladie se transmet de l\u2019animal \u00e0 l\u2019Homme (zoonose) le plus souvent par voie alimentaire (principalement volailles, mais aussi bovins, porcins ou eau contamin\u00e9s), mais \u00e9galement par contact avec des individus, des animaux ou encore des carcasses infect\u00e9s. Cette pathologie se caract\u00e9rise par une ent\u00e9rite aigu\u00eb caus\u00e9e par une infection intestinale, dont la gu\u00e9rison est spontan\u00e9e en quelques jours (dans 4 cas sur 5).
